I have got to do this

WoW another new year.  2008 where has the time went.  After looking back on the past year, as most of us do this time of year, I have noticed my mind coming back to the same topic it has for the past several years, My weight.  When I graduated high school 19 years ago I was at my ideal weight for my height, 5'7".  Now I am well past my ideal weight at 285 lbs and I think it is time for me to start thinking about my weight and how it relates to my health.  Both my parents are diabetic and with my weight and eating habbits I will be following them very soon if I do not do something now.  Through the winter my husband lives by the old saying early to bed early to rise.  He is off to bed about the time it gets dark in the evening.  He has been like this since he was a child his mother tells me.  This however leaves me to myself as my kids are doing there own thing in the evenings.  I do alot of mindless grazing through the refrigerator when left alone.  This is a habbit I have to break if I ever want to get back to a healthy weight.  I have joined the biggest losers million pound match up for some encouragement.  I hope to have better news soon I am tired of being overweight.
